One Buddha. Or to be Theravada Buddhist,
there can be more than one but
not at the same time, or three:
one of the past (Dipankara), Buddha present
(Gautama) Future (Maitreya). Om Mani Padme Hum.
“Om Mani Padme Hum” translates to “Hail to the jewel in the lotus.” It is the mantra of the Buddha of Compassion (so many Buddhas) and it is said to calm fears, soothe concerns and heal broken hearts.
