Moving the River

Wednesday, September 23, 2015Tuesday, September 29, 2015Ken Leave a comment

Watching the workmen moving the river today,

I thought about when my young sons

and I once diverted the local creek.

Lifting rocks, digging mud, making stick dams –

we changed its course. Until it rained.

Meridians

meridians

My friend’s acupuncturist told him his meridians –
twelve paths for the life-energy,  his qi –
are blocked, no electric ying yang flow.
I sense his Prime Meridian, energy reservoir,
spiritual axis, needs the alchemy of love.
