Plowing the Clouds

Someone has been plowing the clouds today.

A wide furrow below me for Spring

to dry and then harrow before planting.

Perhaps Saraṇyū, goddess of clouds, flew here

just before I framed this vernal view.

As the sun goes down here on the overlook and NYC sinks into darkness, the Cast of Beatlemania plays to a huge crowd along with an enormous chorus that knows all the words.
When I was watering this morning, something jumped and let out little yelps. Thought it was one of the many chipmunks but on investigation I found this little kit. S/he held very still for the camera (fear + instinct) and I spoke softly about where the good grass and the pot of clover is and the morality issues around respecting my garden space. Not sure how trainable rabbit kittens are but…
